ABOUT US
MARTIN + ANDREW have been creating spaces since they met in Copenhagen 2016. They are passionate about sharing beauty in this world. A wrong turn took them to Gylsboda when they were seeking a space in the forest with wildlife as neighbors. They envision a revitalized village where art and nature inhabit the former industrial core of the community.
SUSTAINABILITY
We prioritize restoring existing structures. We use high quality, natural materials to renovate and furnish them. Examples include: linseed oil paints, recycled tetrapak wall boards, Norwegian wood fiber insulation. We utilize filtered onsite well water, solar energy, and geothermal heat. Organic cottons, organic toiletries, and essentials. Organic food production on site has been our fledgling aspiration. Most importantly, volunteering and participation in village initiatives.
